Gary was a good friend of mine. He and his dad Alfred were the ones that got me started with flying lessons. I was shocked when Gery was lost in an aircraft accident.

Gary ways one of my very best friends !

We would spend lots of fun times together. Driving around or flying several times a week. One of our favorite pastimes was bowling, I could barely beat him he was always laughing....

I went to Confermation with Gary and he was always so nice to me, I really apriciated his friendship. I see his Mom once in awhile she still plays piano at Manor Care and Brentmore and we always have a nice little visit.  Gary passed around the same time as my Brother Russell Malcomb, was a very sad time.  Sharon Malcomb.   I does not seem possible that it has been 40 years since his passing.  I know Gary and Al are up there watching over every one.  God got a couple good flyers.

I knew Gary as my father worked at the airport with Alfred.   Gary was a special person.  I also was very saddened of his passing.

Gary and I were in Sunday School classess from an early grade and Confermation.  His mother was often the Sunday School teacher. She is a nice person and always remebered me when every I'd have a of chance of seeing her in Minot.  Flying was his and his families passion, it was a tragidy that he left us so soon.  I often think of him, and our small Sunday School/Confermation group.
