Speaking of lucky--i had the pleasure of sitting behind Milt in home room.  I used Milt like a bartender on many Monday mornings when i told him what i did bad over the weekend.  He listened but did not typically comment.  Milt is one of the reasons i liked Minot High School--but i did not really care for shool.  Milt is still the terrific gentleman today.  Cherry Cokes at Minot Drug,  Saunders and NW sporting goods, glazed cinamon rolls from City Bakery, a 56 Chevy and more pretty girls than you could admire in one day are some of my most fond high school memories.  i regret  i was too young to better appreciate the WWII experience of Carl Hehn in history class.  Looking forward to the next reunion .  If   you have not seen the Heritage Singers variety show--you need to.  Many of the singers are from our era and their comedy is world class.

I recieved a note from Bonita Sessing Matcha saying that her husband, Duane was recently diagnosed with non hodgkin's lymphoma around his right eye but that the prognosis is good. She also stated that they are awaiting their 7th grandchild and with 6 boys are hoping for a girl this time.

Hey class, Duane and I have a new adult toy. It's  a 2018 soft top Mazda Miata and as of October 2017, we have 8 grandchildren. 6 boys and 2 girls

Also, Duane had a back surgery a week ago. They put in a back spinal he has been in major pain for 2 years. Looks like it may work. Anyone who has had one put in has my respect and sympathy.
