Kathleen S Schoenwald Ohly, 44 of Minot died August 15, 1993 from cancer. Kathy was born September 7, 1948, she was raised and educated in Minot graduating from Minot High School in 1966 and from Trinity School of Nursing. She married Stephen Ohly on June 11, 1970 and they made their home in Minot where she was employed as a nurse. Kathy earned her Nurse Pracitioner Certificate from the University of North Dakota School of Nursing in Grand Forks in 1976. She was later certified as a physicians assistant. Kathy has served on many health boards over the last 15 years and in 1987 she served as a volunteer surgical assistant on an orthopedic surgical team in Brazil. Kathy is survived by her husband, Steve, Daughter Karen Paurus, sons Bob and Chad.
