Keith Alfred "Kabby" Braaten Sr., 67, Minot, died Saturday, May 2, 2015 in a Minot hospital following a two year battle with pancreatic cancer.Keith was born in Rugby, ND and his family moved to Minot in 1961. He attended Erik Ramstad middle school and graduated from Minot High school in 1966. Keith is survived by his wife Gail, sons Keith Jr. and Kevin and daughter Kami all of Minot. Keith's funeral will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 8 in Vincent United Methodist Church in Minot.

It has been great talking to Keith the last few years last time was in January.
I'll never forget all the great times in HS we had, also the all night card games at Byron Bertch's house. So mucH laughter and missing beer out of BB's fridge !
Also the time of our separate Vietnam deployments both of us in the Navy and accidentally running into each other on my Carrier in the Phillippines. Keith recognized me from across the hanger bay, never forget that. Also the last beer we had together Cheers again to you and our 50 years of friendship, I'm going to miss you ol Buddy !
