Roger Borkhuis

Roger A Borkhuis, 60 of Minot passed away on October 2, 2008 after a short battle with cancer. Roger was born in Minot on April 17, 1948, Graduated from Minot High School in 1966 and from the University of North Dakota Where he played football and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Roger Married Mary Teevens of Grafton, NDin 1971 and returned to Minot to restart Wholesale Supply Company, a business that his father had started several years earlier. Roger and Mary had 3 boys, Brian, Brad and Brent.

Yes I remember Roger from high school . He had a cool car then seen him at the 25 th reunion. Talked with Roger and Curtis Schall.  Read of Rogers estate sale Old Car Weekly.  Will miss him at the 50 th.     Vern Miller

Roger was truly one of my favorites. He was a gentle giant and loyal to his friends. If it hadn't been for Roger and multitudes of rides home from school, I would have frozen to death! Rest in Peace old friend.

Robert (Bob) Owens

Roger,Roger,Roger, You will so be missed.As I think back how you with that booming voice could never whisper in class and because of that spent way to much time in detention or even worse had our citizenship grade lowered. If lowered to far and we may not be able to play in the game coming up.
The second thing I will remember was the terrific laugh and smile that lit up a room.
So many great times together and a couple we will try to forget. What a great guy.You are so missed.

Roger

Our gentle giant with an infectious personality and smile.  We had a great time in HS and at some of the games.    Roger was very good friends with Byron Bertch up till Byron died.  We will go driving up in heaven ol Buddy !
