I visited Verena in Vienna a while ago, and enjoyed a dinner with her and her daughter. Verena talked about the brca gene connected breast cancer that had already taken her mother and sister. Verena was having strong therapies at the time for what I assumed was also breast cancer. As did her mother, Verena's daughter was headed to America as an exchange student, to Tupelo, MS.
